Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Rinse mouth with water and remove to fresh air. If rapid recovery does not occur, obtain medical attention.
Skin contact: Rinse skin thoroughly with water or lukewarm water. If the affected area has any change or persistent irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.
Eye contact: Rinse thouroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention immediately.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and dilute by drinking 1-2 glasses of water. If symptoms persist, consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Shut off fuel to fire if possible to do so without hazard.
Suitable Extinguishing media: water spray, foam, dry chemical powder, or carbon dioxide.
Accidental release measures
Personal protection: wear protective clothing specified for normal operations.
Clean-up methods: wipe off released powder with cloth or paper. Collect waste in closed drum for disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling: wear protective clothing specified for normal operations. Avoid contact with skin or eyes or clothes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during the handling.
Storage: Keep away from sunlight and put in stopper container. Store in cool and dark location (preferably inside storage)

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures: use with local exhaust ventilation. Make available eye and hand wash in the work area.
Respiratory protection: industrial canister gas masks if necessary.
Hand protection: impervious gloves.
Eye protection: wear protective eyeglass or chemical safety goggles.
Body protection: standard issue work clothes. Safety shoes or boots, chemical resistant.
Hygiene measures: do not eat, drink or smoke at work. Always handle with good hygiene system. Soiled clothing and footwear must be taken off at once and removed from room. Destroy contaminated leather shoes and leather gloves.
Stability and reactivity
Stable. Hazardous decomposition and polymerization will not occur. This product is considered a stable material under normal and anticipated storage and handling conditions.
Disposal considerations
May be incinerated in a suitable facility provided local regulations are observed.
In agreement with regional waste disposal authority or company, the waste code must be determined. A waste code in accordance with the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) may not be assigned to this product since it admits of a classification only when the consumer uses it for some purpose.
