Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study is only required if stability of the substance is considered to be critical.

Additional information

PGDB is not stored in a solvent or sold in that form. Although alcohol based solvents will trans-esterify benzoate esters, this doesn’t happen at appreciable reaction rates below 150°C. Long term storage in solvents is not an intended or foreseeable use/activity, and the foreseeable uses would not involve solvents combined with temperatures above 100°C.
