Discussion

Three methods are applied to estimate the vapour pressure of Perkadox 24:

1.The ACD/Labs calculation method: Pvap= 8.5*10-12Pa at 25 °C.

2.DSC method: Pvap< 10 Pa at 25 °C. 

3.From the relation between vapour pressure and mol weight: Pvapin the range of 1*10-11to 1*10-16Pa at 25 °C.

 

Based on these three results one can conclude that the vapour pressure of Perkadox 24 at 25°C will most likely be around 1*10-11Pa.

The vapour pressure of Perkadox 24 at 25°C will surely be below 0.01 Pa.
