Description of key information

The vapour pressure of N-(n-octyl)-2-pyrroldinone is estimated to be 0.03 Pa at 20 degrees centigrade.

Additional information

Two sources were obtained from the migrated NONS file provided by ECHA. One states that the vapour pressure of N-(n-octyl)-2-pyrrolidinone is 0.71 Pa at 25 degrees centigrade, and the other states a value of 0.1 pa at 25 degrees centigrade and 1.41 Pa at 55 degrees centigrade. It estimates a value of 0.03 Pa at 20 degrees centigrade.

The estimated value at 20 degrees centigrade is taken as the vapour pressure for N-(n-octyl)-2-pyrrolidinone, since this follows the standard guidance for determination of vapour pressure.
