Description of key information

The vapour pressures of the substance is 4.1 x10-3Pa at 25 deg. C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.004 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined by a vapour pressure method following EU method A.4 and OECD 104 guidelines. Vapour pressure measurements were collected between 64 - 74 degrees C. A calibration plot of logPa vs. reciprocal temperature, 1/K permitted extrapolation of vapour pressure at 25 degrees C.

Results of the analysis showed the vapour pressure of the substance is:

4.1 x10-3 Pa at 25 deg. C and 0.53 Pa at 70 deg. C (the highest temperature at which the substance is used)

No apparent change in the appearance of the substance was noted over the course of the test.
