Based on the results of the structure similarity search based on D-Panthenol using OECD QSAR Toolbox, it is hypothesized that Panthenol, Ethyl Panthenol, and Pantothenic Acid (and its salts, respectively) are sufficiently similar to each other with respect to structure, physical-chemical, and toxicological properties. For justification of read across please refer to the attachment in IUCLID5 section 13.

Based on the results obtained from testing no hazard of DL- Panthenol for the human health was identified.
