First-aid measures
DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation:
Fresh air. Rinse nose and mouth with water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Ingestion:
Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep person under observation. If person becomes uncomfortable seek hospital and
bring these instructions. Do not induce vomiting.
Skin Contact:
Rinse with water. Contact physician if irritation continues.
Eye Contact:
Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyes wide apart. Get medical attention
immediately. Continue to rinse.
MOST IMPORTANT SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND DELAYED
Inhalation:
No specific symptoms noted.
Ingestion:
No specific symptoms noted.
Skin Contact:
No specific symptoms noted.
Eye Contact:
No specific symptoms noted.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials. Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARIZING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE:
Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards:
No unusual fire or explosion hazards noted.
Specific Hazards:
In case of fire, toxic gases may be formed (COx, NOx).
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control.
Protective Measures In Fire:
Selection of respiratory protection for fire fighting: follow the general fire precautions indicated in the workplace.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. The product should not be dumped in nature but collected and delivered
according to agreement with the local authorities.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
Avoid contact with skin or inhalation of spillage, dust or vapour. Absorb spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material. Ensure that
waste and contaminated materials are collected and removed from the work area as soon as possible in a suitably labelled container.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Read and follow manufacturer's recommendations. Avoid contact with eyes.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITIES
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
