Description of key information

This substance is void of any chemical structures commonly associated with explosive properties, such as metal peroxides, peroxo-acid-anions, azides, and halogen oxides.  As2O3 is thermodynamically stable (no oxidation in air to form As2O5). Further, it is noted that despite long-term industrial use of the substance, it is not classified for explosive properties according to UN transport regulations (in accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI). Thus, any explosive properties are not plausible and experimental confirmation is scientifically unjustified.
