colourless

Additional information

N-(3-trimethoxysilyl)propyl)ethylenediamine is a clear colourless liquid at standard temperature and pressure, with a melting point of <-20°C and a boiling point of 240°C.

The physical appearance of the substance was reported in three studies; flash point, ready biodegradation and aquatic toxicity, based on visual observation and experience in handling as a clear colourless, yellow and clear liquids, respectively. All reports support a liquid form for the substance. Differences in the colour may be based on differences in purity. The key study is selected as it is the most recent observation.
