There is a moderate adsorption of Fatty acids, C8-10, Me esters (CAS 85566-26-3) to soil and sediment particles (log Koc 2.07 – 3.3).

No studies on adsorption/desorption are available for Fatty acids, C8-10, Me esters (CAS 85566-26-3). As Fatty acids, C8-10, Me esters is a UVCB, the adsorption desorption potential was calculated for both main components. Using KOCWIN v2.00, log Koc values of 2.7 - 3.3 (estimate from log Kow) as well as 2.07 - 2.59 (estimate with MCI method) were calculated, indicating a moderate adsorption potential of the test substance.
