Description of key information
The toxicity to aquatic organisms is assessed based on a category approach. The category members are composed of a structurally analogue organic part but different metals that are laked with the organic structure. At environmentally relevant pH values disintegration of the molucule and a release of the metal component is not expected. Therefore an influence of the laked metal part is not expected. Aquatic algae toxicity data are available for different members of the category. Below a full listing of available aquatic toxicity data is given:
