Additional information

The surface tension of the test compound was determined experimentally in compliance with EU Method A.5 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC. The determination was carried out using a surface tensiometer (based on ISO 304 Ring Method). An aliquot (0.1067 g) of test material was diluted to 100 mL with glass double-distilled water. After sonication and filtration, the solution was diluted to 90 % with glass double-distilled water. Data supplied by the Sponsor indicated that the test compound contained 6.9 % phosphorus. This figure was used to convert concentration of phosphorus to concentration of test material. The surface tension of a 0.352 g/L solution of the test compound has been determined to be 32.4 mN/m at 20.5 ± 0.5°C.
