Description of key information
The log Kow of the substance was calculated to be 6.9 at 25°C. The log Kow of the substance was also experimentally determined, as the log Kow of the constituents of the substance KY-RB (EC# 423-070-8) has been determined. KY-RB is a reaction mass of 3 constituents, containing the substance MDI/CHA as constituent. In this study, the log Kow for MDI/CHA was determined to be 3.8.

The log Kow of the substance was calculated by the Rekker method using prolog P program. The log Kow of the constituents of KY-RB was determined in a GLP-compliant study in accordance with EC A.8 (1992) and OECD 117 (1989) using the HPLC method.
