None of the components of the test item does contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties. The molecular structures of any impurities =<1% were not taken into account. In conclusion, JNJ-119717-AAA (T001036) has no explosive properties.

Description of key information
Based on a GLP study (WIL Research Europe, 2016), T001036 is considered not to contain any chemical groups indicative for explosive properties. Further testing was omitted and T001036 is concluded not to have explosive properties.

Additional information
A supporting study (PSC, 1985) investigated the sensitivity to impact of T001036 following the Lütolf falling hammer method. The substance was found to be not shock sensitive (> 39 Nm). The study was assigned a Klimisch 4 score.
Justification for classification or non-classification
T001036 does not need to be classified as explosive as based on the chemical structure the substance does not contain any chemically instable or highly energetic groups that might lead to an explosion.
