Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item has been determined not to boil up to 400°C (673K) at 101kPa

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination was carried out by differential scanning calorimetry, using a procedure determined to be compatible with EC Method A2 and OECD Guideline 103. The thermograms contained neither a definitive thermal event of the test item boiling nor for any definitive signs of decomposition. There was a small endotherm approaching 400°C but the residue appearences showed no visual signs that decomposition had begun and had only lost approximately 4% of their original weight. Thus, it was considered that the test item did not boil up to 400°C. The thermal event at approximately 90°C was that of the test item melting. The test item has been determined not to boil up to 400°C (673K) at 101 kPa.
