The substance is readily biodegradable and has a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Pow: – 3.6). Aquatic toxicity studies are available for three trophic levels. All tests demonstrate low aquatic toxicity, with LC/EC50 values >100 mg/L for fish, daphnia and alga, respectively.

Therefore, the substance is not classified, according to (EC) No 1272/2008 (6th ATP).
