Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The inhibitory effects of the test material to Lemna minor were investigated over a period of 7 days, based on the frond number and dry weight, following the guideline OECD 221 and EU Method C.26, in GLP compliance. The test was performed as a limit test at 150.4 mg/l nominal concentration of the test item, corresponding to 100 mg/l of the active ingredient, under static conditions. Blank controls were tested in parallel. Chemical analysis of the test concentrations as well as oxygen, pH and temperature measurements were performed. The test concentrations could be maintained satisfactorily over the whole 7-day test period (95 % of the initial value after 7 days), the effective concentrations (ErC50 and EyC50) were assessed based on the nominal concentration of the active ingredient. The two endpoints frond number and biomass (dry weight) were investigated at days 2, 5 and 7, and each of them were assessed as growth rate and yield.

No significant effects were observed with respect to the endpoints frond number and biomass at the nominal concentration of 100 mg/l as compared to the untreated control.

Based on these results, the 7-day effective levels are:

ErC50 (frond number, dry weight) > 100 mg/l (A.I., nominal)

EyC50 (frond number, dry weight) > 100 mg/l (A.I., nominal)

NOErC (frond number, dry weight) = 100 mg/l (A.I., nominal)

NOEyC (frond number, dry weight) = 100 mg/l (A.I., nominal)
