Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The test item remained liquid at -20 °C, no solidification was detected.

Conclusions:
The freezing point of the test item is <-20 °C.
Executive summary:

A test was performed similarly to OECD 102, Regulation (EC) 440/2008 Method A.1 and EPA OPPTS 830.7200 to determined the freezing point of the test item. In a preliminary test, a sample was cooled down to -20 °C in a cryostat. The test item remained liquid at this temperature, no solidification was detected. Therefore, the freezing point of the test item is <-20 °C.

Description of key information

The test item is liquid at -20 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted as the melting point of the substance is < -20 °C.
