Results and discussion
Test results (Oxidising solids)
- Key result
- Sample tested:
- test mixture as specified
- Remarks:
- Oxidiser cellulose-mixtures containing 10 to 90 % weight of oxidiser in 10 % increments were prepared
- Parameter:
- burning time of reaction over a distance of 200 mm
- Remarks on result:
- mixture does not ignite and burn
- Remarks:
- Leuco Sulfur Red 14 is not considered as an oxidizing substance.
Any other information on results incl. tables
The cone-shaped pile formed during the Preliminary Test could not be ignited therefore the Main Test was performed. The maximum burning rate of the test item in different mixtures was found to be lower than the burning rate of the reference mixture in the Main Test. Leuco Sulfur Red 14 is not considered as an oxidizing substance.
