Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period
Remarks:
The test substance was shaped in a prism as prescribed by the method. The sample, in contact with the flame of a Bunsen, melts slowly and after about 45 seconds starts to spread on the plate. No flame has been observed; after moving away the source, smoke is observed only few seconds. Considering the absence of propagation during the preliminary test, the speed of combustion test wasn't performed.
