Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on results of a combined limit/range-finding test, a final test was performed. Because the substance was not completely soluble in test medium WAFs were prepared at loading rates of 10, 18, 32, 56 and 100 mg/L. The total test period was 48 hours and samples for analytical confirmation of actual exposure concentrations were taken at the start, after 24 hours of exposure and at the end of test. Only samples taken from the 100 mg/l WAF was an analysed. In the WAF an initial concentration of 12.6 mg/L was found which decreased below the the LOD (i.e. 0.55 mg/L) within 24 hours of exposure. The average exposure concentration was calculated to be 1.1 mg/L, which is higher than the solubility limit of the substance.

No reduction of growth rate or inhibition of yield was recorded at any concentration tested. The EC50 for growth rate reduction and yield inhibition was > 1.1 mg/L and therefore above the water solubility limit of the substance. The NOEC for both growth rate reduction and yield inhibition was 1.1 mg/L.
