Short description of key information:
In the present studies an examination of the reproductive organs was included. Especially in the 90 day study with Sprague-Dawley rats with repeated oral dosing up to 1000 mg/kg bw (Martin et al. 2002) clinical examination and even histopathology revealed no changes of the reproductive organs. In these studies the maximum applicable dosages were administered without causing any toxic effect.

Based on the available studies (Martin et al. 2001 and Martin et al. 2002) and evaluation in IUCLID section 7.1.1, 7.8.1 and 7.8.2 the substance is not classified according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No.: 1272/2008 and Directive 67/548/EEC.
