Additional information

The test substance is an organic white solid with a melting point between of 99ºC and 105°C, and a boiling point of 292ºC. The reported relative density is 1.345 and the vapour pressure found to be lower than 0.0000678 Pa. The estimation of the partition coefficient by the HPLC method results in a log Pow of 1.7 at 25ºC. The test substance is slightly soluble in water at 77 mg/L. As the surface tension is greater than 60 mN/m at 20ºC (70.2 mN/m), it should be regarded as a non-surface active material.

The test substance does not contain any ionizable functionality indicating that a dissociation constant study is not required. The test substance is neither flammable in contact with water or air, explosive, nor does it possess oxidising properties.
