Additional information

The results of the biodegradation screening study (OECD 301B) conducted with Glycerides, C8-10, mono- and di- (CAS No. 85536-07-8) show that this substance can be considered as readily biodegradable (82.6% biodegradation in 28 days). Based on this information, the substance is expected to be rapidly biodegraded by microorganisms in both aquatic and terrestrial environments and therefore, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, 9.2.1.2, 9.2.1.3 and 9.2.1.4, further simulation testing on biodegradation of the substance in water, sediment and soil is not required.
