Description of key information

The density of JEFFSOL GC was determined to be 1.3944 ± 0.0006 g/mL at 23.5°C, based on the OECD guideline 109 (Reimer, 2003). In addition, a density value of 1.42 g/mL has been published by Dibenedetto (2011). Both the study report and the publication are used in a weight of evidence approach and the mean of the two values is used as key value.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.41

Additional information

The key value for chemical safety assessment is given for a temperature of 20°C. As the test was performed at 23°C, the actual density at 20°C might be slightly different (Reimer, 2003). However the average of this value together with the value published by Dibenedetto (2011) has been reported as key value.
