Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX 9.1 of EC 1907/2006 a study on the long-term toxicity to inverterbrates does not have to be conducted, since the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or relevant degradation products on inverterbrates.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Short-term studies available for fish, daphnia and algae, all indicate a low potential for aquatic toxicity. Furthermore, the substance is not expected to remain in the aquatic environment, since it is rapidly biodegradable. Bioaccumulation is unlikely due to the low log Kow value.
