Description of key information

The pour point is <-20°C according to testing methodology EU Method A.1/ISO 3016, based on read-across.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The pour point of the read-across substance (Distillates (Fischer-Tropsch), C8-26, branched and linear) was determined using Method A1 of Commision Directive 92/69/EEC, and was determined to be<253 ± 0.5 K.

The pour point of Hydrocarbons, C16-C22, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, <2% aromatics is read across from other related substances. Hydrocarbons, C13-C18, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics has a measured pour point of -27°C at 1013 hPa according to ISO 3016 method. Similarly, Distillates (Fischer-Tropsch), C8-26, branched and linear has a measured pour point of <253 ± 0.5 K (<-20°C) in accordance with EU Method A.1.
