Particle size distribution (Granulometry)

Administrative data

Endpoint:
particle size distribution (granulometry)
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
other:
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The data waiving was based on the expert statement in the study report.

From the expert statement:
Test item was received as a white paste. PSD is only applicable for powders and not for pastes.
Therefore it is technically not possible to determine the particle size distribution.
Furthermore, the test item does not contain fine particles.
Based on this, it is concluded that there is no risk of inhalation.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
It is technically not possible to determine the particle size distribution of the substance Cyclopentadecanone, because the test item is a paste.
