Solubility of the 2-methylcyclohexyl acetate in distilled water at pH 5.6 was 0.44 g/l at (20±0.1)ºC.
Executive summary:

Determination of water solubility, using shake flask method, was carried out according to the method EEC A.6. (OECD 105) (flask method). The substance was dissolved in water at a temperature above the test temperature (30 ºC). When saturation was achieved, the mixture was cooled and kept at the test temperature (20 ºC). Subsequently, the mass concentration of the substance in the aqueous solution, which must not contain any undissolved particles, was determined by a suitable HPLC method. Solubility of the 2-methylcyclohexyl acetate in distilled water at pH 5.6 was determined to be 0.44 g/l at (20±0.1)ºC.
