Additional information

The substance is not stable in the aquatic environment. However, it is not experimentally confirmed which mechanisms is the primary cause for the degradation, hydrolysis or oxidation. The hydrolysis test showed the fast elimination of the test substance, probably due to oxidation. The biological degradation is negligible in a CO2 evolution test. As the log Pow of the substance is below 3, which is the trigger value for the indication of chemicals to have bioaccumulation potential, a study on bioconcentration is not needed and the BCF was calculated using a QSAR approach to be 23.7. The adsorption/desorption behaviour in soil was also calculated by QSAR to be 264. Considering these values, the substance is classified as being not bioaccumulative in aquatic organisms and as medium mobile in soil.
