Description of key information

The HPLC method was performed to determine the partition coefficient (n-octanol/water). The HPLC chromatogram of the test substance showed one major (86%) and one smaller (14%) peak. Because both peaks eluted after the reference substance 4,4-DDT (log Pow 6.5), the log Pow of the substance was determined to be >6.5. Column temperature: 35°C ± 1°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Key value for CSA: log Pow > 6.5

The study was performed in accordance with EC A.8, OECD 117 and EPA OPPTS 830.7570 guidelines and according to the principles of GLP.
