Additional information

Several reliable authoritative secondary sources reported the flash point of 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol as result from experimental studies to be between 26°C and 35°C. In a worst case view the value from Ullmann's was chosen as key parameter for the flash point. A flash point of 26°C is regarded to be reliable for 1-(dimethylamino)propan-2-ol.

Based on the flash point of 26 °C, the following classification criteria are met:

R10 (flammable) of EU Directive 67/548/EEC: flash point >= 21 °C and <= 55 °C;

Flammable liquids, Category 3(flammable liquids and vapour) of EU CLP: flash point >= 23 °C and <= 60 °C
