Description of key information

The following study was provided as the key study for the data requirement viscosity:
Baerlocher GmbH (2012) Test report, physio-chemcal data, test substance dibutyltin bismethylmaleate. Testing laboratory: Baerlocher GmbH Research and Analytics Department, Freisinger Str. 1, D-85716 Unterschleiβsheim, Germany. Report date: 2012-09-04
The viscosity of dibutyltin bismethylmaleate was determined using the rotational viscometer method according to the standardised guideline OECD 114. Under the conditions of the study, the viscosity of the test material was determined to be 1785 mPa s at 20ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
1 785 mPa · s (dynamic)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

Value used for CSA:

Under the conditions of the study, the viscosity of the test material was determined to be 1785 mPa s at 20ºC.

A reliability rating of 2 was assigned to the key study, Baerlocher GmbH (2012), according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the study was conducted in-house, in accordance with recognised guidelines.
