Acute toxicity testing in testing cages. Birds were fed with spiked watermelon (containing 0.1 % 3-chloro-p-toluidine) for 4 h and subsequently observed at ca. 8 h intervals for 3 d. Time untill death was recorded. Than, necropsy and residue anal.
