Any other information on results incl. tables

With the first experiment, a large endothermic peak between 10°C and 50°C was observed in the DSC-curve. The effect was most likely obtained due to evaporation of the test substance. The extrapolated onset temperature of the peak was 25.55°C. After the experiment it was observed that the test substance was evaporated from the sample container.

The second experiment was performed to obtain a duplicate value for the boiling temperature of the test substance.Similar results as with the first experiment were obtained. The extrapolated onset of the evaporation peak was 26.02°C.After the experiment it was observed that the test substance was evaporated from the sample container.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The melting and boiling temperature of the reaction mass containing mainly 2-chloropropene were determined using DSC.

The boiling temperature of the test substance is: 26°C or 299K.

The atmospheric pressure was 1006 ± 7 hPa.
