Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No simulation tests on the biodegradation of the test substance in water and sediments are available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No data on the biodegradation of the test substance in simulation tests are available. In an enhanced biodegradation study according to OECD 310, the test substance was degraded from 36% after 25 days up to 54% after a test duration of 60 days (Laus 11012603G606, 2011). The test substance is a highly branched UVCB. Due to their molecular structure, the molecules of this UVCB are likely to be less accessible than compounds that possess linear molecular structures. This steric obstruction could result in a decelerated biodegradation of the test substance.

Since the results from simulation test in water, sediment and soil are not considered to reveal any relevant additional findings, no corresponding studies will be conducted.
