Three reliable measured values are available for the boiling point of tetrapropyl orthosilicate. A boiling point value of 225 - 227°C was reported in a handbook which has been subject to peer review and in which the original sources are traceable. The result is considered reliable and selected as key study. A reliable boiling point value of ca. 226°C was determined for the test substance using an appropriate test method. Similarly, a predicted boiling point value of 260°C was obtained for the substance using a validated QSAR estimation method. In other available study to which no reliability could be assigned, boiling point value of 224°C was reported for tetrapropyl orthosilicate. The supporting studies are in good agreement with the key study.
