Additional information

The LC50 for propylene glycol phenyl ether is greater than 100 mg/L in Daphnia in the GLP study, as no effects were observed at the highest test concentration (BASF, 1997). The EC50 determined in a second study on Daphnia was determined at 370 mg/L (Dow, 1978). Since the results of both studies are consistent, the latter EC50 is selected as a key study for this endpoint.
