Based on the measured log Pow of 0.08 a log Koc of 1.06 was calculated using the formula for nonhydrophobics as given in TGD part 3 (BASF SE 2009). Therefore, adsorption to solid soil phase is not expected. Due to the variable chemical composition of the test substance, fugacity modeling cannot be performed on EP-306; therefore, fugacity modeling was performed on the known components of EP-306. Substance is an aqueous solution of various dicarbonic acids and oil. Therefore, the mode of entering into the environment will be water. Fugacity modeling of the components indicates that 98 -99.8% of emissions will remain in water. The miscibility with water indicates that volatilization is negligible.
