Description of key information

According to REACH Regulation 1907/2006 Annex IX, 9.1., column 2, a long-term study shall be considered if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further effects on aquatic organisms.

In the present case, results from acute toxicity tests up to the saturation concentration of the substance show no effects. It can therefore, be concluded that aquatic toxicity is unlikely to occur (no hazard identified). Hence, there is no need for a long-term study.
