Description of key information

The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test item has been determined to be 10.4 to 4.71 x 104, log10 Koc 1.02 to 4.67. However, 93.9% of the test item (the dominant components) had a reduced range of 2.49 x 104 to 4.71 x 104, log10 Koc 4.40 to 4.67.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The Woolley & O'Connor, 2010 study was considered the key study as it was conducted using the HPLC screening method, designed to be compatible with Method C19 Adsorption Coefficient of Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 121 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 22 January 2001 and GLP.

A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to this study, according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997.
