Bringmann and Kuehn reported toxicity threshold results for isopropyl acetate in micro-organisms for four species across a number of publications. This data is considered sufficient using a weight of evidence approach to conclude that this substance has low toxicity to waste water treatment plants. The lowest value is selected for the key parameter. This also happens to be based on an appropriate species. There is also reliable supportive information available from a limit test using sludge respiration inhibition as the end point.
