Abiotic hydrolysis is not relevant, sinceno hydrolysable groups are present. However, the test substance is subject to photolytical degradation. The half-life time for phototransformation of a suitable source substance (FeEDDHMANa) at 25 ±3 °C is determined to be 40.66 -35.4 hours at a light intensity of 4.86E20 photons/second in the wavelength range of 290 - 500 nm. Thus, FeNaEDDHA is considered to be quickly photodegraded in water.
