First-aid measures

After inhalation

Provide fresh air. In case of irritation of the respiratory tract seek medical advice.

After contact with skin

Change contaminated clothing. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.

After contact with eyes

Rinse immediately carefully and thoroughly with eye-bath or water. In case of troubles or persistent symptoms, consult an ophthalmologist.

After ingestion

If swallowed, immediately drink: water. Seek medical attention if problems persist.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media

Extinguishing materials should be selected according to the surrounding area.

Special exposure hazards arising from substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases

Substance is not classified as flammable but charcoal will burn at high temperatures. It may produce hazardous fumes like carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide. Explosive dust-air mixtures may form.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters

In case of fire: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Use water spray/stream to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.
