Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Skin: Immediately flush with copious amount of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Eye: Immediately flush with copious amount of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Ingestion: Never make an unconscious person vomit or drink fluids. Get medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Specific hazards:
Mixture of vapor and air are explosive above flash point.
Extinguishing media:
Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder
Protective equipment:
Wear goggles and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, goggles, rubber boots and rubber gloves.
Environmental precautions:
Don't flush to sewer and river.
Methods for cleaning up:
Absorb with sand or other non-combustible material. Collect spilled material in appropriate container. In case of large spills, dike for later disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place. Keep away from heat, spark and flame.

Disposal considerations
Burn in chemical incinerator equipped with an afterburner and scrubber. Disposal must be in accordance with current national and local regulations. Chemical residues generally count as special waste, and their disposal may be regulated in the EC member countries through corresponding laws and regulations. General EU requirements are given in the Waste Framework Directive (75/442/EEC) and the Hazardous Waste Directive (91/689/EEC).
Do not dump this material into sewers, on the ground or into any body of water.
