Justification for classification or non-classification

As the lower and upper flammability limits are 5.8% and 20.3%, respectively (Dohany, 1994), vinylidene fluoride has to be classified as extremely flammable (F+, R12 according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and H220 according to EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008).
