Description of key information

Acute toxicity data are available on three trophic groups:

- fish: the 96h-LC50 and the 96h-NOEC for Gobiocypris rarus exposed to the test item were > 0.62 mg/L and ≥ 0.62 mg/L based on measured concentrations of the limit test concentration (loading rate of 100 mg/L), respectively.

- crustacean: the 48h-EC50 and the 48h-NOEC for for Daphnia magna exposed to the test item were > 0.40 mg/L and ≥ 0.40 mg/L based on measured concentrations of the limit test concentration (loading rate of 100 mg/L), respectively.

- algae: the 72h-ErC50 and the 72h-NOEC for Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata exposed to the test item were > 0.35 mg/L and ≥ 0.35 mg/L based on measured concentrations of the limit test concentration (loading rate of 100 mg/L), respectively.

According to the results of the experimental tests, the 1,6-Divinylperfluorohexane is considered as not acutely toxic for the aquatic organisms at its limit of solubility
