Additional information

Reaction mass of methyl chloroacetate and chloroacetic acid:

1.- Monochloroacetic acid:

Key study: The estimated bioaccumulation factor is 3.162 (BCFWIN v2.17). The Log BCF from regression-based method is 0.500. The log Pow used is 0.22 (experimental database).

2.- Methyl chloroacetate:

Key study: The estimated bioaccumulation factor is 3.162 (BCFWIN v2.17). The Log BCF from regression-based method is 0.500. The log Pow used is 0.63 (estimated).

Based on these results, the substance presents a low potential of bioaccumulation.
