A test item was found to be a non-sensitizer when tested at up to the highest achievable concentration of 50% (w/v) in acetone:olive, 4:1 (v/v). TK A 40293 causes slight skin irritation at concentrations of 25% and 50% (w/v) on the ear dorsum of mice.

There are conclusive but not sufficient data for classification of Cyclohexylphenylketone with regard to sensitisation.

Cyclohexylphenylketone is not classified for this endpoint in accordance to Directive 67/548/EEC or the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
