Description of key information

A daphnia reproduction test was performed according to OECD TGD 202 Part 2 (1984) by Inveresk Research International. The daphnids were exposed to a maximum concentration of 200 mg/L nominal (196 mg/L measured) under semistatic conditions for 22 days. The influence of the test substance on the number of offsprings was evaluated.

Additional information

There was no significant difference between the mean number of offspring per producing Daphnia in the test and the control tanks at day 14 and 22. The NOEC for Daphnia reproduction under test conditions is concluded to be 196 ppm (measured mean value).
